The fact that your two sons have always liked any kind of wheeled adventure is what initially drew you into the powered skateboard shop. The fact that these popular modes of travel were all over the beach community, however, was the impetus behind the boys first renting, and then buying off road motorized skateboard.   • 11 million people indicate that they enjoy skateboarding on a regular basis.
  • 77% of skateboarders indicate that they prefer to shop for small specialty brands rather than the top brand names that are on the market.
  • A mere 3.1% of skateboard sales occur in sporting goods stores. The majority of the sales are in specialty stores and online.
  • The U.S. accounts for more than 50% of the total worldwide skateboarding market.
